DAD/PDA Detector
-
1024 diode array detector with 0.6 nm pixel resolution
-
High-quality gratings produce full-resolution spectral chromatograms
-
Easy-to-use flow cell makes maintenance simple
The diode array detector works by passing polychromatic light through the sample contained in the flow cell and being absorbed by the compounds in the sample. Light output from the flow cell illuminates a diode array where the light intensity per nanometer wavelength is measured.
Diode array detectors (DADs) respond to UV and visible light with wavelengths from 190nm to 640nm. The Rittun Diode Array uses a deuterium light source, condenser and filters, flow cell, monochromator and 1024 diode array detector with high sampling rate to achieve high sensitivity, low noise chromatograms.
